Job Purpose

Reporting to the VP, Strategic Accounts Unit, this position is focused on managing some of the large accounts we have, build relationships with our client stakeholders (current and new), identify new ways to add value for our clients, lead an internal team of program/project managers who are responsible for delivery and grow the account within current & new revenue streams.

Job Overview

Objectives 

 

  • Drive Revenue Growth: Consistently meet and exceed revenue targets for assigned accounts through strategic upselling, cross-selling, and identifying new business opportunities.
  • Develop Strategic Account Plans: Create tailored, long-term strategies for each key account, aligning with both client objectives and company goals.
  • Enhance Client Relationships: Foster strong, trust-based partnerships with key stakeholders in each account to ensure client satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Improve Customer Lifetime Value (CLV): Implement effective cross-selling and upselling strategies to maximize the long-term value of each account.
  • Lead Account Management Team: Provide guidance, mentorship, and leadership to junior account managers, ensuring cohesive team performance.
  • Conduct Regular Account Reviews: Analyze account performance, identify areas for improvement, and adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Ensure Client Satisfaction: Maintain high levels of client satisfaction through proactive communication, issue resolution, and exceptional service delivery.
  • Identify and Mitigate Risks: Conduct SWOT analyses for each account to anticipate potential threats and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Collaborate Across Departments: Work closely with sales, marketing, and product teams to align efforts and deliver integrated solutions to clients.
  • Stay Informed on Industry Trends: Keep abreast of market developments, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities to provide strategic value to clients.
  • Optimize Account Profitability: Balance resource allocation and service delivery to maximize profitability while maintaining client satisfaction.
  • Expand Service Offerings: Identify opportunities to introduce new services or products that address evolving client needs and create additional revenue streams.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Develop and/or deliver business to meet or exceed portfolio revenue & margin targets.
  • Lead a team of professionals working on the account in different capacity (program/project management, technical SMEs, quality etc.,)
  • Manage and maintain client experience within portfolio and be the voice of the client within RWS
  • Identify prospective projects and groups within customer portfolio with existing business.
  • Follow up sales leads within an agreed period and follow stated guidelines to qualify to opportunity, qualify out or pass back to field marketing.
  • Proactively work a list of target groups as well as identify new opportunities within a geographic or vertical or solution area.
  • Engage in client facing sales activities to secure new business wins and coordinate with Marketing as appropriate.
  • Positively promote RWS services and products at all times.
  • Work with account-based marketing to inform and steer appropriate campaigns.
  • Always maintain a good awareness of global account and marketing activities in operation.
  • Endeavor to keep all customer information updated for reporting purposes and provide sales forecasts as defined by RWS.
  • Adhere to corporate branding guidelines in all proposals, emails and general communications.
  • Manage opportunities in Salesforce.com

 

Skills and Experience

 

  • 10+ years of proven account management/leadership experience, within the information technology sector. AI data service and solutions experience is a plus.
  • Should have been directly responsible for business/portfolio of $25M or more.
  • Experience with, and understanding of, business process outsourcing in technology, business strategy, globalization services, data analytics and/or AI services.
  • Strong creative, analytical and listening skills to generate new solutions and value for our customers, generating new revenue streams for RWS.
  • Ability to communicate with integrity and credibility and build trusting relationships with others.
  • Experience accessing and selling to senior leader contacts.
  • Must value the customers success as much as your own.
  • Willingness to travel as needed to meet objectives.

Base Pay

 

$170,000 - $250,000 / year plus a generous bonus

Actual rate of pay may vary based on factors including, but not limited to: position offered, location, education, training, and/or experience. Total compensation may also include variable incentives, bonuses, benefits, and/or other perks, as outlined in any formal offer made.
