Job Purpose

As the Head of TrainAI Delivery Operations you’ll be responsible for leading the operations for TrainAI within RWS’s key accounts in Enterprises Services business unit and other business units with the goal of driving world-class delivery, profitability and innovation.

 

This role requires the experience to take on the responsibility of leading an operations organization – run through an autonomous program framework and contribute to the success of our overall Enterprise Services organization and TrainAI business.

 

There is no doubt that this role is both challenging and rewarding. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate how their experience lends itself to making a big impact in a short time, by hitting the ground running. The successful candidate will have the ability to drive strategic planning while also being prepared to roll their sleeves up to enable their team to deliver on the strategy.

 

About TrainAI Data Services

 

Training or fine-tuning artificial intelligence (AI) requires data. LOTS of data. However, not just any data will do – our clients need responsible AI data that’s targeted, accurate and reliable to ensure machine learning (ML) success. Job Overview

Key Responsibilities

 

    • Develop and maintain strong relationships across the customer organization and RWS.
    • Regularly evaluate customer satisfaction and lead account reviews to determine the efficiency of the current strategy and identify opportunities for improvement of cooperation.
    • Act as the face of RWS for business issues, acting as the escalation path for solving problems and issues, acting as the customer’s representative within RWS making sure that all of their needs are met in the best possible way.
    • Manage revenue and profitability MTD, QTD and YTD, tracking forecasts to actuals
    • Providing input on financial modeling and associated pricing and contributing to and leading (where applicable) enterprise level negotiations.
    • Drive program improvements and innovation via technology and automation.
    • Regularly follows industry news and AI trends. Improves his/her knowledge through active participation in training and industry events as needed.
    • Drive or participate in RFPs and RFIs to ensure a winning culture
    • Determining pricing targets and a service mix that are in line with the overall growth and revenue strategy.
    • Look for expansion opportunities, like new customers, markets and industry developments. Take advantage of possible opportunities that can occur to advance the company.
    • Contributing toward setting revenue goals for existing clients based on historical data and knowledge of customer business development.
    • Taking responsibility for weekly/monthly/quarterly reporting to leadership
    • Collaboration with leaders of cross-functional teams such as Supply Chain or Development, acting as “the voice of the customer”, as cross company investment priorities are decided.
    • Oversee interviewing, hiring and training employees; planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
    • Oversee Managers responsible for successful fulfilment of customer projects
    • Build, mentor, coach, train, monitor, assign and set objectives for team of reports.
    • Ensure team's compliance with standards, practices and policies.

 

Skills & Experience

 

 

    • Proven experience in AI Data Services including Data Labeling and Annotation, Data Generation/Collection, Model Evaluation, Computer Vision, Generative AI & LLMs, AI product testing etc.
    • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in business or related field or relevant experience.
    • Experience growing business using global crowd resourcing.
    • Advanced experience in managing operational aspects of business, including cost management.
    • Ability to demonstrate a rich blend of analytical, creative, and strategic problem-solving talents.
    • Consultative & creative approach to solving clients’ needs, ability to identify the best, not the easiest, solution
    • 15+ years’ experience required in leadership and large team (100+) management
    • Experience supporting sales cycles including presentations, analysis, recommendations, and relationship development.
    • Proven experience in financial management.
    • Possess a high degree of professional as well as personal integrity, an ability to work effectively in a group setting and the ability to move that group in a unified direction.
    • Demonstrate an ability to effectively communicate, motivate, and inspire cross-functional teams.
    • Demonstrable ability to think strategically and articulate ideas and plans with professional maturity to participate at senior management level.
    • Demonstrated success at leading multi $m accounts

US Base Pay

 

$200,000 - $245,000 / year 

Actual rate of pay may vary based on factors including, but not limited to: position offered, location, education, training, and/or experience. Total compensation may also include variable incentives, bonuses, benefits, and/or other perks, as outlined in any formal offer made.
