Job Purpose

The Program Director is a senior, hands-on leadership role responsible for launching and managing a multi-faceted program. This includes driving transformation initiatives, setting up technology and processes for scalability, and overseeing business setup and delivery.

Success in this role requires strategic thinking, delivery expertise, and an entrepreneurial mindset.

 

The Program Director will work closely with senior leaders, such as the SVP of TrainAI, the Director of Transformation, Group Technology, Finance, Legal and HR to ensure programs are delivered within scope, on time, and on budget.

Job Overview

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Lead the end-to-end launch of complex programs, aligning technology setup, process transformation, and business scaling
  • Scope definition, requirements gathering, business cases, planning, reporting 
  • Streamline delivery processes and define commercial excellence frameworks for optimized operations and growth
  • Oversee people onboarding and resource readiness to ensure seamless execution.
  • Establish and track key success metrics to monitor progress and ensure value realization.
  • Identify potential risks and develop proactive mitigation strategies to ensure smooth program execution
  • Collaborate closely with senior leadership to align priorities and manage complex stakeholder relationships, including C-suite engagement
  • Supporting team development, fostering a collaborative environment, and driving program success by mentoring other team members involved in TrainAI. 
  • Be a trusted partner to cross-functional teams, balancing multiple priorities and driving alignment
  • Lead cross-functional efforts across EMEA and US time zones to ensure seamless execution.
  • Partner with internal teams, external partners, and stakeholders to orchestrate program success
  • Drive value identification, orchestration, and tracking to ensure business outcomes align with goals
  • Lead post-merger scaling efforts and organizational setup, including entity establishment and integration
  • Familiar with multiple delivery methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid) and able to streamline methods to fit program needs
  • Deliver strategic PMO and advisory services to ensure effective governance and program alignment
  • Define and implement frameworks for commercial and delivery excellence

 

Skills & Experience

 

  • Proven experience as a Program Lead / Director / Senior Manager within the technology world in complex program from ideation to completion 
  • Ex management consultant experience helpful 
  • Experience in program or project delivery, with a proven track record of leading complex, enterprise-level initiatives
  • C-suite and cross-functional stakeholders across global time zones.
  • Expertise in organizational setup, post-merger scaling, or M&A integration.
  • Familiarity with commercial excellence frameworks and delivery process optimization
  • Strong strategic PMO and advisory expertise, with experience driving value realization
  • Knowledge of Data and AI programs is a plus but not required.
  • Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and adapt to changing environments and operational needs 
  • Self-starter with high level of motivation and entrepreneurial thinking 
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and technique 

 

US Base Pay

 

$145,000 - $180,000 / year 

Actual rate of pay may vary based on factors including, but not limited to: position offered, location, education, training, and/or experience. Total compensation may also include variable incentives, bonuses, benefits, and/or other perks, as outlined in any formal offer made.
